FAQs
What Does Quarry Rust Brown Look Like?
Quarry Rust Brown has a cloudy grey-beige base with irregular rust, ochre, and earthy brown mottling alongside layered mineral-style markings. Its elongated plank format spreads the quarry-stone-inspired variation across a directional surface, while the matt finish limits strong reflections. Product images are indicative; screens, lighting, viewing angle, room surroundings, and production batches may affect the exact tones, pattern placement, and variation.
Is Quarry Rust Brown Made From Natural Quarry Stone?
No natural quarry stone, sandstone, slate, or other stone composition is stated. Quarry Rust Brown is a vitrified tile with rust-colored accents and a mineral-inspired surface design. Its name describes the visual rather than its material composition. Select it according to its vitrified body, matt finish, floor-and-wall use, dimensions, installation requirements, and manufacturer-provided technical specifications rather than assumptions based on appearance.
What Does The Matt Finish Indicate?
Matt is the stated finish for Quarry Rust Brown and gives its surface a low-reflection appearance compared with glossier finishes. However, the finish name alone does not establish a specific texture depth, slip-resistance rating, wear classification, or wet-area suitability. Review the manufacturer-provided technical specifications and confirm that the product’s measured performance characteristics match the intended floor or wall application before installation.
Where Can Quarry Rust Brown Be Used Indoors?
Quarry Rust Brown is listed for floor and wall use. It may suit living rooms, bedrooms, passages, feature walls, and other compatible indoor surfaces when its specifications and installation system match the intended application. Final suitability depends on the substrate, expected traffic, moisture exposure, pattern planning, adhesive, grout, movement provisions, and applicable project or local requirements.
Is Quarry Rust Brown Suitable For Flooring?
Quarry Rust Brown is listed for floor and wall use, but suitability should still be checked for the specific setting. A matt finish alone does not establish slip resistance, wear performance, or wet-floor suitability. Confirm the applicable technical ratings, expected traffic, cleaning conditions, substrate preparation, adhesive, grout, joint layout, and installation requirements before using it on a floor.
What Size And Pack Coverage Does Quarry Rust Brown Provide?
Each Quarry Rust Brown tile has a nominal size of 200x1200mm, equal to 0.24 sq m before joint allowances. A package contains 5 pieces and provides approximately 1.20 sq m of nominal coverage. Order extra for cuts, breakage, pattern planning, shade coordination, future repairs, and site conditions. Confirm actual dimensions, usable quantity, batch consistency, design sequence, and the installer’s wastage allowance before ordering.
How Should Quarry Rust Brown Tiles Be Maintained?
Clean Quarry Rust Brown with a soft cloth, mop, or non-abrasive pad and a mild cleaner suitable for matt vitrified surfaces. Remove spills and residues promptly, rinse as directed, and avoid harsh acids, abrasive powders, metal pads, or unverified chemicals. Test new cleaning products discreetly and follow the manufacturer’s care guidance for the tile, grout, sealant, and adjacent materials.
