FAQs
What Does The Terracotta Grid Design Look Like?
The design combines warm terracotta and red clay tones with a regular square grid and subtle shade variation. It recreates the character of handcrafted clay panels while maintaining an orderly architectural appearance. Its earthy color adds warmth and definition to both floors and walls, making it suitable for rustic, Mediterranean, industrial, or contemporary interiors that need a grounded visual feature.
Is This Glazed Vitrified Tile Suitable For Floors And Walls?
Yes. Code40352 is made from Glazed Vitrified material and is designed for both floor and wall installation. Its practical surface and structured pattern work well across coordinated interior schemes. Correct substrate preparation, suitable adhesive, even joint spacing, and professional installation are important for dependable results, especially when continuing the square grid from one tile to the next.
Where Can This Terracotta Tile Be Installed?
This tile can be installed on floors and walls in living rooms, dining areas, kitchens, bathrooms, entrances, covered balconies, cafes, boutiques, and hospitality settings. The terracotta color helps create a warm, inviting atmosphere, while the grid adds structure. Installation requirements should always be checked for the specific indoor or covered outdoor area before fixing the tiles.
What Effect Does The Rustic Matt Finish Create?
The rustic matt finish gives the tile a low-sheen, natural appearance that complements its red clay-inspired surface. It softens reflections, highlights tonal changes across the grid, and supports an earthy design direction. On both floors and walls, this finish works especially well with timber, stone, concrete, black metal, warm lighting, and textured fabrics for a layered, welcoming setting.
Why Is The 600x1200mm Size Important?
The 600x1200mm format provides generous surface coverage while presenting the grid pattern at an impactful scale. Fewer tile pieces can reduce the number of overall joints compared with smaller formats, helping floors and walls appear more continuous. Because the design contains straight grid lines, accurate measurements, consistent spacing, and careful tile orientation are essential for a clean installation.
Which Colors Coordinate With This Terracotta Tile?
Terracotta pairs naturally with cream, ivory, beige, warm grey, charcoal, olive green, and muted blue. Light neutrals keep floors and walls fresh, while darker accents strengthen the graphic grid. Timber furniture, black metal details, linen textures, and warm white lighting further complement the clay character. Grout color can either blend with the surface or emphasize each square division.
How Should This Tile Be Cleaned And Maintained?
Remove loose dust with a soft broom or vacuum, then clean the floors and walls using clean water and a mild, tile-compatible cleaner. Avoid harsh acids, abrasive powders, metal scrubbers, or strongly colored chemicals. Wipe spills promptly, keep grout lines clean, and follow the installer or manufacturer guidance. Testing any new cleaner on a discreet area is recommended first.
