With a strongly veined or flecked countertop (marble-look, quartz, granite), keep the backsplash plain in a matching undertone and let the counter carry the interest.

FAQs
What Does The Volcanic Magma Black Design Look Like?
Volcanic Magma Black has a deep black and charcoal background crossed by sweeping smoky grey lines, bright amber-gold veins, and rust-colored accents. The overlapping diagonal markings create an energetic magma and marble-inspired appearance. Its hi-gloss finish reflects surrounding light, making the fiery warm details and darker mineral-like areas appear more pronounced across the rectangular surface.
Is Volcanic Magma Black Made From Natural Stone?
No. Volcanic Magma Black is a vitrified tile with a printed decorative surface designed to recreate the dramatic appearance of volcanic stone and marble. It is not genuine marble or another quarried material. Review a physical sample before ordering because screen settings, photography, and surrounding lighting can affect the perceived black tone, vein contrast, gloss level, and pattern detail.
Can Volcanic Magma Black Be Used On Floors?
Yes. Volcanic Magma Black is specified for floor and wall applications, subject to its documented rating for the intended setting. A hi-gloss finish and marble-tile category do not establish slip resistance or wet-floor safety. Confirm suitability for moisture, traffic, loading, and cleaning conditions before installing it on bathroom floors, entrances, commercial floors, or other demanding walking surfaces.
Where Can Volcanic Magma Black Be Used?
Volcanic Magma Black can be considered for interior floors, feature walls, living rooms, dining areas, reception spaces, and selected commercial settings. Its dark base and fiery markings can create a prominent focal surface within a layout. Suitability for wet areas, exterior locations, or high-traffic applications should be confirmed through documented performance information and the proposed installation system.
What Size And Pack Coverage Does Volcanic Magma Black Provide?
Each Volcanic Magma Black tile measures 600x1200mm and has a nominal area of 0.72 sq m. One pack contains two pieces, providing approximately 1.44 sq m of nominal coverage. This calculation excludes cuts, breakage, pattern positioning, and wastage. Measure the installation area and include the additional quantity recommended for the planned layout, site conditions, and future replacement needs.
What Should Be Planned Before Installing Volcanic Magma Black?
Dry-lay selected tiles to review the distribution and direction of the amber, grey, and dark markings before fixing. Plan orientation, joint placement, edge cuts, and transitions so the expressive design appears balanced. The substrate should be flat, stable, and correctly prepared. Use installation materials suitable for vitrified tile and follow the manufacturer’s instructions and applicable standards.
How Should The Volcanic Magma Black Surface Be Maintained?
Remove loose dust and grit with a soft broom, vacuum attachment, or dry cloth before damp cleaning. Use a pH-neutral, tile-compatible cleaner and non-abrasive tools, then remove residue as directed. Avoid harsh chemicals unless approved for the product. On floors, promptly clean spills and use suitable entrance matting or furniture protection to reduce abrasive debris and surface marking.

Description

The overlapping diagonal movement creates a dramatic magma and marble-inspired composition. Its hi-gloss surface reflects light and intensifies the contrast between the dark base and fiery markings. Made from vitrified material, Code40622 measures 600x1200mm and is specified for floor and wall applications. Its volcanic stone and marble appearance is a printed decorative effect rather than genuine natural stone. The large rectangular format gives the expressive pattern a broad visual field. Each pack contains two tiles and provides approximately 1.44 sq m of nominal coverage. Allow additional material for cuts, breakage, pattern distribution, and future replacement.
