FAQs
What Is Ashlar Black Carving Matt Modular Tile Used For?
Ashlar Black Carving Matt Modular Tile is used for floor and wall applications where durability, dark color, and textured modular styling are important. It works well in living rooms, reception areas, passage areas, lobby spaces, and commercial interiors. The ashlar-style layout adds architectural rhythm, while the carving matt finish gives the surface refined depth.
Can This Tile Be Used On Both Floors And Walls?
Yes, this porcelain tile can be used on both floors and walls when installed correctly. Its 600x600mm size supports clean layouts and balanced coverage across interior spaces. Proper surface preparation, adhesive selection, leveling, and skilled installation are important for achieving a neat, durable, and well-aligned finish across floor and wall areas.
What Makes Modular Floor Tiles Attractive?
Modular floor tiles are attractive because they create a patterned layout without needing many separate tile sizes. The ashlar-style design gives the surface movement, structure, and a crafted stone look. This makes it useful for interiors where you want visual interest, durability, and a more designed appearance than plain square tiles.
Is Ashlar Black A Good Color Choice?
Ashlar black is a good color choice when you want a bold, grounded, and modern interior surface. It pairs well with white, gray, beige, wood, brass, chrome, stone, and neutral finishes. The dark tone adds depth and contrast, making floors or walls feel strong, structured, and visually distinctive.
What Is The Size Of This Tile?
This tile measures 600x600mm, making it a practical square-format option for floor and wall layouts. The size is important because it supports neat alignment, balanced coverage, and flexible installation planning. It works well where a modular stone-style surface needs to look organized, durable, and visually steady across the area.
What Are The Benefits Of A Carving Matt Finish?
A carving matt finish gives the tile a textured, non-glossy appearance that feels refined and visually comfortable. It helps reduce harsh reflections while making the ashlar black modular pattern more noticeable. This finish is useful for interiors where you want a stone-style surface with tactile detail, dark depth, and understated elegance.
How Many Tiles Are Included In One Pack?
Each pack includes 4 pieces of Ashlar Black Carving Matt Modular Tile. This pack size is useful for planned floor or wall layouts, sample sections, repairs, or replacement needs. For larger installations, measure the total area carefully and allow extra tiles for cutting, edge finishing, breakage, and layout adjustments.
