FAQs
Is This Blue Textured Tile Suitable For Bathroom Walls?
Yes, this ceramic blue textured wall tile is suitable for bathroom wall use. When installed with proper waterproofing, quality adhesive, and correct grout, it performs reliably in humid indoor environments. The matt textured surface reduces glare from lighting and adds controlled depth. It works especially well for shower surrounds, vanity backdrops, and feature wall sections where a refined finish is needed.
Can This Tile Be Used For Kitchen Backsplashes?
Yes, this tile can be used for kitchen backsplashes. The glazed ceramic surface supports easy cleaning of common cooking splashes when maintained regularly. Its matt texture adds visual interest without creating heavy shine, making it suitable for modern kitchens. With proper grout and routine wiping using mild cleaning solutions, it remains hygienic and maintains its appearance behind countertops and cooking zones.
Does The Matt Finish Make The Space Look Darker?
No, the matt finish does not automatically make the space look darker. It softens reflections rather than reducing brightness. The blue tone appears more balanced and controlled, especially under warm or neutral lighting. When paired with light cabinetry, white fixtures, or neutral wall tones, the tile adds depth and freshness while keeping the space open and contemporary in overall appearance.
Is This Tile Meant For Floor Use?
No, this tile is primarily designed for interior wall use. Ceramic wall tiles are manufactured for vertical installations and are not engineered for foot traffic, impact, or load-bearing performance. For floors, it is recommended to choose vitrified or porcelain tiles that are specifically rated for flooring. Using the correct tile type ensures long-term durability and safer performance in daily use.
What Interior Styles Work Best With This Tile?
This blue textured tile suits contemporary, modern, coastal, and transitional interior styles. It pairs well with white sanitaryware, light stone surfaces, wooden cabinetry, and neutral flooring. It also works effectively with black or brushed metal fittings for contrast. The texture adds subtle surface richness, making it a strong option for interiors that require color depth without heavy patterning.
Is The Textured Surface Difficult To Clean?
No, the textured surface is not difficult to clean because the texture is subtle and designed for indoor wall use. Regular wiping with a soft cloth and mild soap solution is usually sufficient. For bathroom areas, occasional cleaning prevents soap residue buildup. Avoid abrasive scrubbers and harsh chemicals, as they may affect the surface finish and reduce long-term consistency.\n
Where Does This Tile Fit In The MyTyles Price Range?
This tile typically falls within the budget to mid-range segment at MyTyles. It offers textured detailing and design appeal while maintaining practical ceramic wall performance. Compared to premium imported collections, it provides a balanced option for homeowners and renovators who want a visually refined wall tile without entering high-end speciality pricing categories.
