FAQs
What Does Chalk Pink Look Like?
Chalk Pink has a soft blush-pink background with dense white cloudy veining and crystalline marble-inspired movement. The pattern creates noticeable visual detail without using strong dark contrast. Its glossy finish reflects surrounding light, while room lighting, grout colour, nearby materials, tile orientation, and production-batch variation can influence how the completed surface appears.
Is Chalk Pink Made From Natural Marble?
No. Chalk Pink is specified as a glazed vitrified tile in the Marble Tile category rather than natural quarried marble. Its pink field and white veining form part of the manufactured surface design. Select, install, and maintain it according to its vitrified-tile specifications, as its characteristics and installation requirements may differ from those of natural marble.
Where Can Chalk Pink Be Used Indoors?
Chalk Pink is listed for floor and wall use. Depending on its technical ratings and project requirements, it may suit living areas, bedrooms, kitchens, hallways, feature walls, vanity surrounds, or selected bathroom surfaces. Confirm suitability for the exact location, particularly where moisture, heavy traffic, direct sunlight, cleaning chemicals, or specific installation standards affect performance.
Can Chalk Pink Be Installed On Floors?
Yes, Chalk Pink is specified for both floor and wall applications. However, its glossy finish does not independently confirm slip resistance or suitability for every flooring condition. Review the applicable technical data, expected traffic, substrate, installation method, and cleaning requirements before using it on wet floors, exterior surfaces, commercial floors, or other demanding areas.
Is Chalk Pink Suitable For Bathroom Areas?
Chalk Pink may suit selected bathroom walls and floors because it is listed for both applications. For flooring, confirm the relevant slip-resistance information and suitability for expected wet conditions. Correct substrate preparation, waterproofing, drainage, adhesive, grout, sealant, movement joints, and installation remain necessary; the tile itself does not make the completed bathroom assembly waterproof.
What Size And Pack Coverage Does Chalk Pink Provide?
Each Chalk Pink tile has a nominal size of 600x1200mm, equal to 0.72 sq m before joint allowances. A package contains 2 pieces and provides approximately 1.44 sq m of nominal coverage. Allow additional material for cuts, breakage, vein arrangement, future repairs, and site wastage, and confirm actual dimensions, usable quantity, batch consistency, and pack details before ordering.
How Should Chalk Pink Tiles Be Maintained?
Remove loose dust or grit before cleaning Chalk Pink with a soft mop or cloth and a mild cleaner suitable for glossy vitrified tiles. Avoid harsh acids, abrasive powders, metal pads, waxes, or unverified chemicals. Clean spills promptly, test unfamiliar products in an inconspicuous area, and follow the relevant care guidance for the tile, grout, sealant, and adjoining materials.
