FAQs
What Defines The Elegant Ash Grey Marble Look?
Code40174 features a light ash-grey base with softly clouded tonal movement and fine marble-inspired detailing. Its understated pattern creates a calmer appearance than strongly veined marble looks, while the glossy finish adds reflection. Used across floors and walls, the tile can support complete neutral schemes, coordinated surfaces, or selected feature areas in residential, hospitality, retail, and workplace interiors.
Can Code40174 Be Installed On Floors And Walls?
Yes. Code40174 is suitable for both floor and wall applications in appropriate residential and commercial spaces. Its vitrified construction and 600x1200mm format can support coordinated layouts such as living-room floors, bathroom walls, bedroom floors, reception walls, and boutique interiors. Both floor and wall installation require suitable substrate preparation, adhesive coverage, joint planning, handling equipment, and professional large-format fitting.
How Does The Glossy Finish Affect The Marble Look?
The glossy finish reflects surrounding light and makes the pale ash-grey tones and subtle marble movement more visible. On walls, this can create a bright, polished backdrop. On floors, reflection changes with lighting and viewing angles. Examine a physical sample within the intended room and confirm that the finish meets the practical requirements for the planned floor and wall locations.
What Benefits Does The 600x1200mm Format Provide?
The 600x1200mm size gives the soft marble pattern a broad surface on which to appear, creating fewer joints than many smaller formats. This can support more continuous-looking floor and wall layouts when planned correctly. Installers should verify substrate flatness, adhesive coverage, tile orientation, joint spacing, handling arrangements, and alignment before fixing this large vitrified format.
Where Can This Grey Vitrified Tile Be Used?
Code40174 can be used on residential floors and walls in living rooms, bedrooms, kitchens, bathrooms, dining areas, and entrances. Commercial applications may include office floors, reception walls, boutique interiors, hotel spaces, and restaurant features. Its light grey marble look works with varied furnishing styles, while the large format supports expansive layouts and selected focal areas.
Which Colors Coordinate With The Ash Grey Design?
Ash grey offers a light neutral foundation that can keep floor and wall schemes visually calm. The shade coordinates with white sanitaryware, charcoal fittings, pale wood, dark timber, beige textiles, brushed metal, and plain neutral tiles. Compare the tile, grout, furniture, and adjoining surfaces under the project's actual lighting before choosing a tonal or contrasting combination.
How Many Tiles Are Supplied And How Are They Maintained?
Each pack contains two tiles measuring 600x1200mm. Calculate the required packs from the total floor or wall area and add an allowance for cuts, alignment, installation waste, and future replacement. For regular care, remove loose dust and clean the glossy vitrified surface with water and a mild compatible cleaner. Avoid abrasive tools, harsh acids, and waxy products that may leave residue.
