FAQs

How Is This Tile Different From Real Wooden Planks?

Real wooden planks can absorb moisture, expand, and require regular polishing or sealing. A vitrified wood-look tile keeps the same visual warmth but offers better stability and easier cleaning. Its dense body absorbs very little water, so it performs better in kitchens and busy living zones. It also resists daily wear without demanding specialist upkeep.

Will The Plank Layout Make My Floor Look More Spacious?

Yes, long planks can visually stretch the room. When laid along the longest wall, they create a directional flow that makes spaces feel wider and more organised. This effect works especially well in bedrooms, corridors, and open living areas. Fewer grout interruptions also help the floor appear cleaner and more continuous.\n

Is This Tile Suitable For Families With Pets?

It is a practical choice for pet-friendly homes because vitrified tiles resist most everyday scratches and do not absorb odours easily. Pet hair and dust are easy to sweep, and routine mopping keeps the surface hygienic. While sharp claws can mark any surface over time, this tile holds up well under normal household use.

Can It Be Used In Kitchens Without Damage?

Yes, vitrified tiles are suitable for kitchens because they resist moisture and stains better than many alternatives. Spills can be wiped quickly, and the tile does not swell or lift like wood. The matt finish also helps keep minor marks less visible. Proper installation and grout sealing further improve long-term performance.

Does The Color Stay Consistent Over Time?

Yes, vitrified tiles are manufactured under controlled firing conditions, which helps maintain stable color over years of indoor use. Normal cleaning and lighting do not cause fading. Avoid harsh chemicals that may dull the surface finish. With gentle care, the brown tone and grain detailing remain consistent.

What Type Of Grout Looks Best With Wood-Look Planks?

A grout shade close to the tile tone usually gives the most natural plank appearance because it reduces visible joint breaks. If you want a more defined plank layout, choose a slightly contrasting grout. Use quality grout and consistent spacing for a tidy finish. Correct sealing also supports cleaner grout lines.

Description

A wood-look tile should feel authentic while staying tough enough for real life. This brown wooden vitrified tile is made in a 200x1200 mm plank size that creates a clean, linear finish across floors and walls. Tile Code 35961 provides a dense vitrified body that supports long-term durability with low water absorption. The matt finish keeps the surface calm and helps the wood grain detailing look more natural. It also reduces visible streaks, which is useful in homes with regular movement. The brown tone leans warm and works well with cream walls, soft greys, brushed metal fittings, and earthy decor. You get the comfort of a timber aesthetic without worrying about swelling, staining, or surface polishing. This tile is suitable for floors in bedrooms, lounges, and dining areas, and it also works on walls as cladding for feature elevations. The long plank format reduces grout breaks and creates a more continuous look. For best results, plan the layout direction to match the rooms longest visual line.
