FAQs
What Makes Sardonyx Grey A Special Tile Color?
Sardonyx grey is special because it has a layered grey appearance inspired by the banded look of sardonyx stone. Instead of looking like a plain grey tile, it has tonal depth and soft variation across the surface. This gives the tile a more refined and distinctive character, making it suitable for interiors that need a calm grey base with added detail.
What Does Sardonyx Mean In This Tile Design?
Sardonyx is a semi precious stone known for its layered bands and rich internal pattern. In this tile, the name refers to the way different grey tones appear across the surface. The design gives the tile a more stone inspired and detailed look, making it different from regular grey marble look tiles that may have only simple veining.
How Is Sardonyx Grey Different From Other Grey Tiles?
Sardonyx grey is different from many grey tiles because it has a layered and banded surface character. Some grey tiles look flat, plain or heavily veined, but this design has softer tonal shifts that make the surface more interesting. It works well when you want a grey tile that feels elegant, balanced and less ordinary.
Why Is The Glossy Finish A Good Choice For Sardonyx Grey?
The glossy finish works well because it highlights the layered grey tones and gives the surface a brighter, cleaner appearance. It reflects light, helping rooms feel more open and refined. The smooth surface is also practical for everyday use because it can be wiped easily with regular care, especially in bathrooms, living rooms and commercial spaces.
What Is The Benefit Of The 1200x1800mm Slab Size?
The 1200x1800mm slab size gives the tile a larger and more seamless appearance. With fewer visible grout lines, floors and walls look cleaner, wider and more continuous. This size also allows the layered grey pattern to spread better across the surface, making the design feel more balanced in living rooms, bathrooms, feature walls and commercial interiors.
Why Is The 15mm Thickness Useful In This Tile?
The 15mm thickness gives this tile a deeper and more durable slab profile. It supports the large format design and makes the surface suitable for areas where strength and appearance both matter. This thickness is useful for floors, feature walls, vanity surfaces, countertops and selected applications where the tile needs to feel solid, reliable and refined.
How Should This Glossy Vitrified Slab Tile Be Cleaned And Maintained?
This glossy vitrified slab tile can be maintained with simple regular care. Wipe or sweep the surface often to remove dust and loose dirt, as these can reduce shine over time. For wet cleaning, use clean water or a mild floor cleaner with a soft mop. Avoid harsh chemicals, acidic cleaners and rough scrubbers.
