FAQs
What Does Nordic Grey Look Like?
Nordic Grey has a pale, softly balanced grey tone with a largely uniform appearance and minimal visible patterning. Its restrained surface can create a calm backdrop without the movement associated with marble-look or heavily textured designs. Lighting, grout colour, nearby finishes, and production-batch variation can all influence how the grey reads after installation.
Is Nordic Grey A Plain Tile?
Yes. Nordic Grey is listed in the Plain Tile category, referring to its simple, minimally patterned visual. Plain does not necessarily mean that every piece will look completely identical, as slight tonal or production-batch variation may occur. Plan the layout before fixing and mix pieces from the same batch if variation is visible.
Where Can Nordic Grey Be Used?
Nordic Grey is specified for floor and wall use. Depending on project requirements, it may suit living areas, bedrooms, kitchens, bathrooms, hallways, or feature walls. Confirm the tile’s technical ratings for the exact location, especially where water, exterior exposure, heavy traffic, or specific building standards affect the required performance before installation.
Can Nordic Grey Be Installed On Floors?
Yes, the product is listed for floor and wall applications. However, the matt finish and vitrified construction do not by themselves establish slip resistance or suitability for every floor. Check the manufacturer’s technical data, substrate condition, traffic level, and installation requirements before using it in wet, exterior, commercial, or other demanding areas.
Is Nordic Grey Suitable For Bathrooms?
Nordic Grey may be considered for bathroom walls and selected floors because it is listed for both applications. For bathroom floors, confirm the stated slip-resistance rating and suitability for the intended wet conditions. Correct substrate preparation, waterproofing, drainage, adhesive, grout, movement joints, and professional installation remain necessary for a durable tiled surface.
What Size And Pack Coverage Does Nordic Grey Provide?
Each Nordic Grey tile has a nominal size of 600x1200mm, or 0.72 sq m. With 2 pieces per package, the nominal pack coverage is approximately 1.44 sq m. Order quantities should also allow for grout joints, cuts, breakage, layout, and site wastage, while actual dimensions and pack details should be confirmed before purchase.
How Should Nordic Grey Tiles Be Maintained?
For routine care, remove loose grit and clean the surface with a soft mop or cloth using a suitable pH-neutral tile cleaner. Avoid harsh acids, strongly abrasive tools, waxes, or unverified chemicals. Clean spills promptly, follow the tile and grout manufacturers’ guidance, and test any unfamiliar cleaning product on a small inconspicuous area first.
