FAQs
What Does Shadow Grey Look Like?
Shadow Grey has a soft, balanced grey tone with a largely uniform surface and minimal visible patterning. Its simple appearance can provide a calm background for contemporary interiors without prominent veining or decorative motifs. Screen settings, room lighting, grout colour, surrounding finishes, and production-batch variation may influence how the shade appears after installation.
Is Shadow Grey A Plain Tile?
Yes. Shadow Grey belongs to the Plain Tile category, which refers to its restrained, minimally patterned design. Plain does not necessarily mean every piece will look completely identical, as slight tonal or manufacturing variation may occur. Plan the tile arrangement before fixing and combine pieces from the same production batch where possible for a coordinated installation.
Where Can Shadow Grey Be Used?
Shadow Grey is specified for floor and wall use. Subject to its technical ratings and installation requirements, it may suit living rooms, bedrooms, kitchens, bathrooms, hallways, or feature walls. Confirm suitability for the exact location, particularly where water, exterior exposure, heavy traffic, temperature changes, or project-specific building standards affect the required performance.
Can Shadow Grey Be Installed On Floors?
Yes, Shadow Grey is listed for both floor and wall applications. However, vitrified construction and a matt finish do not independently establish slip resistance or suitability for every flooring condition. Check the manufacturer’s technical data, expected traffic, substrate, installation system, and cleaning requirements before using it in wet, exterior, commercial, or other demanding areas.
Is Shadow Grey Suitable For Bathroom Areas?
Shadow Grey may suit selected bathroom walls and floors because it is listed for both applications. For bathroom flooring, confirm the relevant slip-resistance information and suitability for expected wet conditions. Proper substrate preparation, waterproofing, drainage, adhesive, grout, sealant, movement joints, and installation remain necessary; the vitrified tile itself does not make the completed assembly waterproof.
What Size And Pack Coverage Does Shadow Grey Provide?
Each Shadow Grey tile has a nominal size of 600x1200mm, equal to 0.72 sq m before joint allowances. A package contains 2 pieces and provides approximately 1.44 sq m of nominal coverage. Allow additional material for cuts, breakage, layout, and site wastage, and confirm actual dimensions, usable quantity, batch consistency, and pack details before ordering.
How Should Shadow Grey Tiles Be Maintained?
Remove loose dust or grit before cleaning Shadow Grey with a soft mop or cloth and a suitable pH-neutral tile cleaner. Avoid harsh acids, abrasive powders, metal pads, waxes, or unverified chemicals that may affect the surface or grout. Clean spills promptly, test unfamiliar products in an inconspicuous area, and follow the relevant tile and grout care instructions.
