FAQs
What Defines The Oxidized Rust Chevron Design?
The design combines warm brown, copper, and weathered rust tones in a directional chevron arrangement. Tonal variation gives it an aged metal and clay-inspired character without overwhelming the space. Its strong geometry introduces movement across both floors and walls, making it ideal for industrial, rustic, contemporary, or eclectic interiors that benefit from a distinctive architectural surface.
Is This Glazed Vitrified Tile Suitable For Floors And Walls?
Yes. Code40354 is a Glazed Vitrified tile intended for both floor and wall installation. Its durable composition and structured chevron design support coordinated applications across residential and commercial interiors. Proper substrate preparation, suitable adhesive, consistent joint spacing, and professional installation are recommended to achieve dependable performance and keep the directional pattern aligned from one tile to the next.
Where Can This Brown Chevron Tile Be Installed?
This tile can enhance floors and walls in living rooms, dining areas, kitchens, bathrooms, entrances, covered balconies, cafes, restaurants, boutiques, and hospitality interiors. The oxidized brown color provides warmth, while the chevron layout creates visual energy. Installation conditions should be assessed for each area, particularly moisture exposure, substrate stability, traffic levels, and any covered outdoor application.
What Effect Does The Matt Finish Provide?
The matt finish reduces strong reflections and supports the tile’s weathered, rustic appearance. It allows the brown, copper, and oxidized rust tones to remain visually prominent under different lighting conditions. Across both floors and walls, the low-sheen surface coordinates especially well with concrete, timber, black metal, leather, exposed brick, and neutral furnishings for a balanced material palette.
Why Is The 600x1200mm Size Important?
The 600x1200mm format provides broad coverage and gives the large chevron design enough space to create a strong directional flow. Compared with smaller formats, it can reduce the number of overall joints across floors and walls. Accurate measurements, consistent spacing, dry laying, and planned orientation are important for preserving pattern continuity and achieving a professional-looking installation.
Which Colors Complement The Oxidized Brown Surface?
The oxidized brown surface pairs well with cream, beige, warm grey, charcoal, black, olive green, and muted blue. Light neutrals balance its intensity, while dark accents reinforce its industrial character. Timber, concrete, brushed metal, and leather can further enrich the scheme. Grout color may be selected to blend subtly or emphasize the chevron divisions across floors and walls.
How Should This GVT Tile Be Cleaned And Maintained?
Remove loose dust from floors and walls with a soft broom, vacuum, or dry cloth before damp cleaning. Use clean water with a mild, tile-compatible cleaner and avoid harsh acids, abrasive powders, or metal scrubbers. Wipe spills promptly and keep joints free from accumulated dirt. Always follow manufacturer or installer guidance and test unfamiliar products in a discreet area first.
