FAQs
What Defines The Tobacco Brown Chevron Design?
The tile features layered tobacco brown shades arranged in a large directional chevron pattern. Subtle streaks and tonal changes create natural depth reminiscent of weathered timber and stone. The design introduces warmth and movement across both floors and walls, making it suitable for rustic, industrial, contemporary, or transitional interiors that benefit from an expressive architectural surface.
Is This Glazed Vitrified Tile Suitable For Floors And Walls?
Yes. Code40355 is a Glazed Vitrified tile designed for both floor and wall installation. Its functional composition and bold chevron pattern support coordinated residential and commercial applications. Proper substrate preparation, suitable adhesive, even joint spacing, and professional installation are recommended for reliable performance and accurate alignment, particularly where the directional design continues across multiple tiles.
Where Can This Tobacco Brown Tile Be Installed?
This tile can be used on floors and walls in living rooms, dining spaces, kitchens, bathrooms, entrances, covered balconies, cafes, restaurants, boutiques, and hospitality interiors. Its tobacco brown color builds a warm atmosphere, while the chevron arrangement adds visual movement. Site conditions, substrate stability, moisture exposure, and traffic requirements should be evaluated before installation in any chosen area.
What Effect Does The Matt Finish Create?
The matt finish limits strong reflections and gives the tobacco brown surface a natural, understated appearance. It helps the layered tones and chevron geometry remain visible under varied lighting. On both floors and walls, the finish coordinates effectively with timber, concrete, stone, black metal, leather, cream fabrics, and warm lighting for a comfortable yet sophisticated material scheme.
Why Is The 600x1200mm Format Important?
The 600x1200mm format provides broad coverage and presents the elongated chevron pattern at an impactful scale. It can reduce the number of overall joints compared with smaller tiles, helping floors and walls appear more continuous. Careful measurements, dry laying, consistent spacing, and planned orientation are important for maintaining symmetry and a clean directional flow throughout the completed installation.
Which Colors Complement Tobacco Brown Tiles?
Tobacco brown coordinates naturally with cream, ivory, beige, tan, warm grey, charcoal, olive green, and muted blue. Light neutrals brighten floors and walls, while darker shades emphasize the chevron pattern. Timber, stone, brushed metal, linen, and leather can enrich the earthy palette. Grout may be selected to blend with the surface or define each directional section.
How Should This GVT Tile Be Cleaned And Maintained?
Sweep or vacuum floor installations regularly and dust wall surfaces with a soft cloth. For deeper cleaning, use clean water and a mild, tile-compatible solution. Avoid harsh acids, abrasive powders, metal scrubbers, or strongly pigmented chemicals. Wipe spills promptly, keep joints clean, follow manufacturer or installer guidance, and test unfamiliar cleaning products on a discreet section before wider application.
