What those guides say
Headboard wall pairings: wood-look floor with fluted wall tiles; matte porcelain floor with stone-look wall; honed floor with marble-look wall slab behind the bed.
Discover the Best Tiles for BedroomModern gates suit large-format concrete, stone, marble or fluted tiles in grey, beige or charcoal; traditional gates suit terracotta, sandstone or brick; repeat the pillar material on the boundary wall or portico.
Front Pillar Tiles Design - Make Your Main Gate Look ElegantFor small entrances use light beige, ivory, cream or grey with vertical fluted or rectangular layouts for height and narrow borders to frame the doorway.
Maindoor Tiles Design to Create the Perfect Entrance to Your HomeUse 3D tiles on one focal surface (TV backdrop, sofa wall, entrance panel, dining partition, staircase wall or display niche) rather than covering the whole hall.
One defined area lets the texture stand out and keeps the hall balanced.
3D Tiles Design for Hall: Add Dimension to your Home DecorFor a small hall use shallow textures, vertical fluting, light colours (ivory, beige, soft grey, pastel) and limited wall coverage.
Light shades reflect more light; deep reliefs and dark finishes make narrow rooms feel smaller or busier.
3D Tiles Design for Hall: Add Dimension to your Home Decor3D wall tiles come in ceramic, porcelain, vitrified and some stone-look bodies; ceramic is often lighter, porcelain/vitrified denser and in larger formats.
Weight and format differ by body.
3D Tiles Design for Hall: Add Dimension to your Home DecorUse textured tiles (ridges, grooves, matt) on sloped garden paths, entry steps and open courtyards where monsoon, watering and cleaning keep surfaces wet.
Top Creative Garden Tiles Design Ideas for Outdoor Spaces in 2024Avoid heavily grooved textures on indoor stairs; they build up dust. Smooth matt, stain-resistant finishes clean easily.
Stairs Tiles Design Ideas (Creative & Latest)Highly textured kitchen wall surfaces add character but trap grease and take more effort to clean.
The Best Tiles for Kitchen WallsKitchen wall and backsplash tiles must handle heat, steam and stains; glazed ceramic and porcelain are among the best because they resist stains, moisture and frequent wiping.

FAQs
What Defines The Fluted Clay Brown Terrazzo Design?
Code40565 combines a warm clay-brown background with scattered cream terrazzo-style fragments in assorted scales. The high-contrast chips create lively surface variation, while narrow vertical flutes add an orderly architectural rhythm. This matt ceramic tile is intended exclusively for residential and commercial walls and cannot be installed on floors.
Where Can This Fluted Wall Tile Be Installed?
This tile suits residential kitchen backsplashes, bathroom walls, bedrooms, living rooms, dining areas, and decorative feature walls. Commercial applications include boutiques, cafes, salons, restaurants, reception areas, studios, and hospitality interiors. Code40565 is classified strictly as wall only and cannot be used on floors in any residential or commercial setting.
Why Is The 300x300mm Format Important?
The 300x300mm size supports flexible installation across compact wall sections, niches, backsplashes, borders, and broader feature areas. Its square proportion helps the vertical flutes and cream terrazzo fragments continue evenly when multiple tiles are aligned. Code40565 is designed only for wall applications and cannot be used on floors.
How Do The Fluted Relief And Matt Finish Affect The Surface?
The raised vertical flutes create alternating highlights and shadows, adding dimensional structure to the bold terrazzo pattern. Its matt finish reduces glare and keeps the clay-brown base and cream fragments visually balanced. Code40565 is a wall-only ceramic tile and cannot be installed on residential or commercial floors.
Can Code40565 Be Installed On Floors?
No. Code40565 is specifically classified as a ceramic fluted wall tile and cannot be used on floors. Its intended purpose is to introduce warm clay color, contrasting terrazzo variation, and vertical texture to interior walls. Use it for residential kitchens, bathrooms, living spaces, or feature walls and suitable commercial decorative wall applications.
How Should This Matt Fluted Tile Be Cleaned?
Clean Code40565 with a soft cloth or non-abrasive sponge, water, and a mild cleaner suitable for ceramic surfaces. Wipe carefully along the flutes to remove dust, splashes, or residue, then dry the wall if required. Avoid harsh scrubbers that may affect the matt surface. This tile cannot be used on floors.
What Is Included In The 11Pc Pack?
Each package contains 11 pieces of Code40565 in the 300x300mm size. Buyers should calculate the complete wall area and include an appropriate allowance for cutting, flute alignment, or future replacement. Careful planning helps maintain a balanced pattern across residential and commercial walls. The tile cannot be used on floors.
